How can "cure" a RAID storage array disks?
I have a Dell desktop computer. Came with two hard drives 150 g in a RAID array. A disk has failed. 1) How I can replace it? 2) How I can replace it with a larger disk? Then switch to another for a more hard great too?
the first message is quite correct if it is defined as a RAID 1 mirror. However, if by chance it is a RAID 0 striped (which I doubt … do not think Dell could send it), you lose all your data, because the two disks act as one.
