How to Password Protect a folder in Laptop/External Disk?
I want to hide & password protect a folder in my Laptop/External hardisk in such a way that, even if anyone tries to connect this hardisk to another system, shud not access/delete/remake protected data.Plz suggest me best method/software.
You could try using TrueCrypt.
It securely encrypts a file/folder or an entire disk. Best of all, it has the option to create a hidden encryption so that if you’re forced to give out the password, you could give access to the bengign information stored in the encrypted container as opposed to the real information… and it’s impossible to tell the difference.
Plus, it’s free.
